Is this for me?
Adobe Illustrator is one of the core software tools used by graphic designers, digital artists, web developers and other creative’s worldwide. This short learning programme will show you what you need to know about Adobe Illustrator and open your mind to the tools and features for creating all kinds of visual media – from digital illustration and drawing to logo design, commercial signage, technical drawings, posters, flyers, document layout and more.
What do I need to get in?
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows (Creating folders, copying and pasting objects, formatting text, saving files, etc.)
- You should also have a fluent knowledge, comprehension and application of English.
What Certification do I get?
On successful completion, you will receive an ELMI Short Learning Programme certificate: Introduction Adobe Illustrator CC.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed against practical tasks and exercises that will be done during each session. You will achieve a Pass, Merit or Distinction grade for each task. It is critical that at least 90% of the classes are attended as skills are transferred by the lecturer to the student during this contact session time.

Where will the classes be held?
The course will be run at our East London Campus at 231 Upper Oxford Street, Southernwood. Off-street parking is available in the evenings.
