Annual Graphic Design Showcase & Info Evening 2016

We want the world to know how spectacular each and every one of our students and lecturers are, so we make use of every opportunity that comes our way to make this known. On Friday 25 November we hosted our Annual Graphic Design Showcase & Open Evening. This event is a highlight on the ELMI College calendar as the creative team awards and recognises the achievements of their students. The campus was filled with renowned Graphic Design industry specialists who came to bear witness to the vast amounts of hard work that is put in by our graphic design students. The 2016 event was unique in that it presented an opportunity for any prospective ELMI student to come and visit our campus, have a look around and ask plenty of questions about our Full Time and Part Time programme offerings for 2017 and chat to us about how we can help make their dreams come true.

The lovers of visual communication and creative studies spent the evening networking, chatting and sharing tips and suggestions on the creative industry, future predictions, challenges and imparting wisdom. Our talented handpicked students that get to study Graphic Design with us get scooped up by the industry and or pursue their studies into specialist fields like animation or game development. Our employment rate for our graduates is excellent and we are very proud of the standard of the work that is delivered. The ELMI Graphic Design Department has been graduating students for over 10 years.

To date we have impacted on the lives of 228 students, of which ELMI can boast a throughput rate of 75-80% and a distinction rate of 33%. This year 1/3 of our 2nd years are graduating with Distinction aggregates. If you missed the 2016 event, don’t worry, you can join us next year, or just pay us a visit on any other day of the year. The Dream Team is always ready and waiting to meet with you.
