Registering at ELMI is as Easy as 1,2,3
Applying to college may seem like a daunting task. Visions of endless paper work, admission essays and filling out complicated financial information. What does a bank statement even mean? And not to mention all those personal documents! It may seem like a full-time job, even enough to make you want to run for the hills and give up on the dream altogether. But fear not. The truth of the matter is, at ELMI it’s easy. With this registration guide and ELMI’s friendly consultants ready to help you every single step of the way, you’ll be on your way to slaying your dreams in no time.
STEP 1: Fill in the Application Form
So you have chosen your course and it’s time to register.
You can either download the Registration Form, otherwise known as the Application for Admission Form, from the ELMI Website and print it out OR you can take the EASIEST route and come into the campus to receive a printed copy from our friendly staff at the front desk. They will be able to walk you through the entire process. Easy Peasy.
The Application for Admission 2018 form is split into SECTIONS A – L. You’ll need to fill in ALL the sections and all the information. You will also find details to pay a Registration Fee. Please Note: We have very easy payment terms and there are NO HIDDEN COSTS! Everything is included so what you see is really what you pay!

Alternatively, you can ask an ELMI consultant any question, big or small. As some of the world’s greatest geniuses have said in the past, “there is no such thing as a stupid question”.
STEP 2: Gather Your Documents
At the end of the Application Form, you will see a section that requires you to tick off a list of documents. You will need to include the following documents below with your form.
A. Copy of your ID
We need a photo copy of your ID for record purposes.
B. Copy of Sponsor ID
If you have a sponsor, you’ll need to include a photo copy of their ID too.
C. Proof of Address
This is a valid document showing proof of residential address [ where you live]. This could be an electricity bill, water bill or tax bill.
D. Salary Slip
Whoever will be paying for your fees, will need to print out their salary slip or pay slip.
E. Bank statement
A bank statement is basically a document that shows all the transactions that have happened in your bank account. It is usually sent to you every month via email. Whoever will be paying your fees, will need to print out an emailed copy of it or ask for a bank statement at their local bank.
F. Copy of Academic qualifications
We will need a photo copy of your academic results. For Matric, this will be your matric certificate.
G. Proof of payment of Registration and Deposit
Once you have paid your registration fee, you need to include the receipt (either a scan, a photo, a pdf file or a screenshot from your online bank).
Can’t find a photo copy machine or a printer? Don’t worry, we have you covered. You can stop by at the ELMI campus during opening hours and we’ll happily assist.
STEP 3: Submit Your Application Form and Documents
Once you have completed Steps 1 and 2, you will need to send all your documents to ELMI. You have FOUR options.
A. Physically bring everything in a folder to the ELMI campus. We are located at: 231 Upper Oxford Street, Southernwood, East London.

C.Fax the documents to: 043 742 0237
D. Send your documents by post in a clearly marked folder to:
